BAG OF BLESSINGS 2019
Our dearest friend and supporter, we sincerely want to thank you for partnering with us prayerfully and/or financially for Bag of Blessings: Love Compton Mission on August 17-18, 2019 as we sought to be the hands and feet of Jesus both in our community and beyond. Thanks to your generosity, we’ve been able to do the following in just two days alone:
We shared the gospel to 28 people through door-to-door evangelism on Saturday afternoon in the neighborhood.
We cleaned the streets in the community as we passed out gospel flyers and promoted our “Bag of Blessings” event for Sunday.
We gave out 87 backpacks with school supplies to the kids in the community, so they may be ready and prepared academically for their upcoming school year. We even served the community with games, snacks, gifts, and crafts for children to enjoy on Sunday morning and afternoon.
Most importantly, we shared the gospel to the children and adults (87+ people) that came to our Bag of Blessings event.
Out of 115+ people that we shared the gospel in a span of two days, we were able to receive many contacts who are interested in being followed up with One Church.
