Happy New Year! We are truly blessed to share with you our first newsletter of 2019! Thank you so much for your amazing support in the year 2018. God has really blessed our church and allowed us to spread the Gospel in South Los Angeles through your prayers and financial support. Thank you.
We had our first Christmas Party @ LA1 and many of our family members and supporters joined us for this joyful occasion. Some of you came for the first time, so we really appreciated your presence. We also had a special 2019 goal journal writing time together as we revealed our 2019 theme verse for LA One Church: Psalm 119:105. "Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." Please keep us in your prayer that all that we learned in 2018 will be translated and lived out as we remain close to the Word of God in the year 2019. Harvard did a study where they found out that their graduates who wrote their goal and had a concrete plan had ten times the income from those who did not. I pray that all of you wrote your new year's resolution and goal in the Lord. If you would like us to send you a goal journal as a gift from LA One Church, please let us know and we will ship it to you at no cost.
Lastly, we have a very important announcement for our friends and family. We will be hosting our first ever retreat and would like to invite you to this special fellowship in a beautiful ranch of Hemet, CA. Detail is as below:

SD Hanbit Church Retreat - Pastor Chan and his family will be in San Diego area this weekend to preach to SD Hanbit College group in learning how to live and remain in God's will. Pray for the family to be used by God mightly.
Exponential Learning Community #2 - 1/31-2/2 @ Tampa, Florida- Pastor Chan will be on an 8-month journey on learning how to become a better church planter and a multiplier for God's kingdom. Pray for church planters to be raised up through LA1.
2019 Monumental Goal for LA One Church
2019 is going to be an important year for LA One Church. We would love to find a place, where we could call our first church location, outside of our pastor's home, so we may have a visible presence to the community as we serve those that are in need. We are praying for God's miracle, God's sovereignty, and God's hands to be upon us in such time. It was such an encouragement for Pastor Chan's old youth group members to come and join us during Christmas season to encourage and support us. We pray and hope all of you can continually be the channel of blessing for LA One Church. Please remember us and think of us in your prayer and, if God-willing, monthly giving plan for the year 2019.
