02.16.2019 - "Winter Retreat" Prayer Request

URGENT PRAYER REQUESTS FOR 1ST LA ONE CHURCH WINTER RETREAT
"Could you intercede by praying these 5 topics below?"

1. God, help each of the retreat’s attendees to obey and live out your Word after hearing your Word during the retreat.

2. God, help our church members to be convicted to attend this retreat so that they can be taught your Word and be in rich fellowship with brothers and sisters in Christ.

3. God, please lead us and strengthen us by the power of your Holy Spirit in all aspects of preparation for this retreat (sermons, praise, logistics, administration).

4. God, please unite us in deep fellowship within our own church and with the other churches at the retreat (2 churches are joining us).

5. God, please provide for us all the finance we need for the retreat. Let money not be a hindrance preventing anybody from going and participating fully.

We just started our first Bible study for women in Compton/South Los Angeles. If you or know anyone who wants to grow in the Lord as one learns how to live out her biblical calling as a Christian woman through Paul’s letter to the Colossians, contact us for our next meeting date! We really hope to see you there. If you can't join physically, please pray for this ministry that God will use it to reach many women who are in desperate need of Biblical teaching and care in the community. (Bible study for Men are happening in Compton/South LA/Burbank/Hollywood)

Our first ever retreat is right around the corner and would not want anyone to be hindered from joining this opportunity to grow closer to God because of their financial circumstances. First, please pray for the retreat as listed above. Secondly, if you would like to bless a hopeful attendee with a special one time gift for retreat scholarship, please do so freely through our website or more detail is given at the bottom of our newsletter.
