07.19.19 - 1st Urban Mission Trip to Compton, August 17-18

One Church Sunday School students have been super busy this summer, memorizing Scripture verses like Jireh above! Sunday, July 28th will be a proclamation day of many Bible verses that they have memorized at LA1C! If you can join us and support our Sunday School, we will truly appreciate your presence!

LA One Church friends and family, we have a special prayer request for the upcoming month in August. We have a mission trip to Compton, right in our church neighborhood, We will be sweeping, picking up trash, cleaning, and beautifying the community on Saturday. Following Sunday morning, we will be giving out backpacks with school supplies to children in our neighborhood. Most importantly, we will be sharing the gospel to these children, their parents, and adults of our community by doing door to door evangelism as well. 

We ask you our friends, families, and supporters to please pray for us because we know that the spiritual battle is real. With your prayer, combined with our obedience to the Great Commission, we know that God is going to do His mighty work in Compton. Furthermore, please pray about financially supporting this important calling of God. Your mission offering will be used mightily to save souls into the Kingdom of God. 

LA One Church members served LA Church of Joy VBS on June 15. It was a tremendous blessings for two churches to work together to love and share the gospel to children in Koreatown, Los Angeles. This event truly resembled the name of our church. We all worship One God as ONE church under our Lord Jesus Christ. 

Bible Women gathering at our home has been an amazing blessing to our church. These godly women are meeting together bi-weekly on Fridays to share their lives as they transform into the likeness of Christ! Do you know any women who may be interested!? Please e-mail us so you can join us for our next women's BIble study!!!

Praise Report: We got to share the gospel to a family that cleans our church every Sunday morning so we can worship the Lord in a beautiful space! This was all possible due to your prayers and support! Thank you LA1C Partners in Christ!
