Thank you so much for your prayers and support.
We just completed our 3rd Inland Mission to Compton.
What a blessing it is for a church of our size to reach out to our community directly with the gospel of Jesus Christ for the third time in 7 months of our launch. This is simply unheard of and it was really possible because of your financial gifts and encouragement. Let me give you a quick recap of what we actually did in two days with our mission team members. A quick shoutout to Yongtae, a missionary from Korea, who joined our church for the past two weeks. Thanks, bro! Keep up the good work of Christ in Korea and save those college students' lives!
1. 12 boxes filled with foods, $25 market gift card, a gospel tract, and Bible were given out - every person that received this special box from us heard the gospel presentation of our Lord Jesus Christ!
2. 4 backpacks with school supplies were given out - they all also heard the gospel!
3. 40 children's shoes were given out as many of the recipients also heard the gospel!
4. We cleaned the parking lot of our shopping center, serving the customers and business owners, as we handed out gospel tracts.
5. 20 LA One Church tote bags filled with foods, a gospel tract and Bible were given out - This one was really special because we got to visit a transitional home where 19 men lived together. We brought a birthday cake to celebrate Christmas with home-baked cornbreads. They loved our company as they asked us to share God's Word right there and then. Blessed by each other's fellowship and offer to preach, pastor Jason and Chan were moved to share the gospel and invited them to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Afterward, residents were moved to pray for the morning church service in their home and even made a promise to attend our church.
People ask us all the time, "How is your church plant?"
We answer all the time, "We are right where God wants us to be."
Really, if this is not what church is, what is?
So friends and supporters, thank you for allowing one church to be the church.
We have amazing news to share! Look at the photo above!
Our first church van! Wow! We were simply lost for words for the sheer amount of financial support we raised in two months to acquire the van for our church!
Biggest thank you to all the used van supporters...you, you made it possible. Our plant team got the van of our dream because of your prayers and donations. We were able to serve the community, give rides, share the gospel, do mission, and move equipment for our Sunday service. We are utterly lost for words in how much gift and love we have received through this fundraiser. Thanks to everyone from the west coast to the east coast. From China to Korea. This really was a worldwide effort for the mission in Compton. We will remember you and pray for you as we use our van and continually reach out to those that need to hear the gospel. If you are in our prayer letter, more details will follow after. THANK YOU!!!
