One Church Family & Friends,

What a night! What a blessing it was to appreciate you for support in year 2019! For those of you who could not make it, please try your best to come to our next year's appreciation dinner because we had such a blessing time with praise, message, testimonies, and delicious food, cooked personally by pastor Chan's wife, Su. Also, for the first time, we revealed our LA1 Mug Cups as a thank you gift! If you would like to receive one as a token of appreciation form us, please reply to us with your home address and we will gladly send you one, free of charge! Just let us know!

Upcoming Events

We have some very important events coming up for our church members that we really need your prayers on. Please remember us in your prayer time with our heavenly Father, who knows all, hears all, and answers all. If you would like to join us for any of these events, please reply to us with your request as well.

1. January 19 - XEE Training #5 of 13 - We are currently in 13-week training of Evangelism/Discipleship course. Sunday afternoon in Compton is being gospelized through your prayer! How exciting!

2. January 25 - Compton Inland Mission #4 - We work with the Compton Initiative team in cleaning up Compton Community as we share the love of Christ! If you have not been to able to serve in Compton before, this will be an awesome opportunity for you to join us!

3. February 21-23 - Joint Winter Retreat - 3 churches will be gathered to spend three days learning how to pray without ceasing. The theme verse for our church this year is Philippians 4:6-7 [Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, present your requests to God...] Fee is $100 and it will be an awesome opportunity for our church members and anyone of you to grow in your prayer life as well. Hope to see many of you!
