3.19.20 "Stay at Home"

Governor orders all Californians to stay at home.
Where is our true and eternal home?

Hello, my closest family of Christ. It is with a heavy and hopeful heart I write you this post tonight. Our God has been so gracious ever since our inception that we have met physically every Sunday since 4/1/2018. As we approach our two-year mark, for the next few Sundays, the leadership team has made the decision to worship online. Just like my newsletter, message and announcement past Sunday, we are to obey our leaders and CA governor & LA mayor have banned social gathering that is above 10 for the sake of the community, who may be vulnerable to COVID-19. Since our church is well above this mark, we will go live via www.facebook.com/laonechurch at 1:11 PM, starting this Sunday.

Please join us, right in your home or at a quiet place, where you can tune out from the world for about an hour and really look to Christ, worship our God, and reflect on our true eternal home, the kingdom of God, together. From the beginning, as you all know, our church has never been about a physical building, because the church is a body of believers. So wherever you are this Sunday, One Church, we are a church. We believe in One God, proclaim One Truth, and will unite as One Community over online. One day, everyone who believes in this truth will spend their whole eternity in God's heavenly home and we will be able to see each other, embrace one another, from past, now, and future. So now, let our Sunday worship online be a glimpse of this eternal home. 

Thus my heart is hopeful despite all that we are going through because I believe and trust in our sovereign God, who will open new doors, reach families, and perhaps even people, who may have never heard the Gospel. So One Church supporters and friends, gather your family, sit with us, pray with us, worship with us, stand with us, and be ONE with us this Sunday, 1:11PM at www.facebook.com/laonechurch. Bring your Bible, notes, pen, and an open heart as we worship our King of kings, Lord of lords, together. The government is asking us to stay at home. Let's show the world how Christians cannot remain silent as we tell the world where our real, true, and eternal home is this Sunday! God bless you and we are praying for you.
