Newsletter #10

Hello, amazing supporters, friends, and family members of LA One Church. We have wonderful news to share with you through LA One Church's one and only newsletter #10! 

First and foremost, we give God all the glory for allowing us to celebrate 7 months of training and gathering as planting members in South LA. 

Secondly, God has really blessed our newsletter ministry and allowed us to hit the century mark of newsletter subscribers/prayer partners. It's all thanks to you, who have been faithfully praying for us and supporting us all this time and some of you have been with us from newsletter #1!

Thirdly, our mobile church has been such a blessing as couple Sundays ago, we were in Reseda, worshipping the Lord and evangelizing in the community as you can see the highlights in the video above and in the photo below.

Coming Sunday, we will be in Downtown LA, and sharing the Gospel in Little Tokyo afterward. Just as Jesus commanded us to go and make disciples of all nations, that's what we truly desire to do as we continue to proclaim the truth wherever God sends us weekly. If you would like to join us this Sunday, 11/18/18, please e-mail us or call us at 213-273-6452 for ride situation. If not, we will be back worshipping here in Willowbrook on Sunday, 11/25/18. Hope to see you all then.   

Our evangelism training has already completed the 9th session and the blessings that God has given us is truly insurmountable. The greatest blessing is that God is raising up disciple makers who are putting down their comforts and pride every Sunday in going out to share the good news to whomever and wherever. Furthermore, what has God brought about in our community through our trainees is breathtaking.

With few young Christians that God has challenged to plant a church and evangelize in South LA since September 16th, LA One Church has approached 132 residents, shared the gospel to 33 precious souls, and from them, ten have confessed their commitment and faith in Christ through our interaction. 

Just imagine with me for a second. What would have happened if these young and passionate Christians chose to stay inside the church, in their comfort zone? 132 would not have been approached. 33 of them would not have heard the gospel. 10 would not have professed their faith in Christ. 

Romans 10: 15 “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”

As always, none of these blessings would have been possible without your financial and prayer support. So we truly thank you for remembering us in your thoughts, prayers, and support by receiving and reading this newsletter. • Thanksgiving Service & Potluck - November 25, 2018 @ 12PM - We are gathering at LA One Church with our family and friends to thank God for all the blessings He has given us this year. Please come join us!

• XEE [Evangelism Explosion] Training - Started September 9 @ 3 PM - Come and be discipled in how to become a disciple maker yourself! 

• Exponential Learning Community - 11/29-30 @ Nashville, Tenessee- Pastor Chan will be on an 8-month journey on learning how to become a better church planter and a multiplier for God's kingdom. Please keep him in your prayer.
